Transfer to departments of ITU Management Faculty is carried out within the framework of YOK regulations related to transfer and our university’s Transfer Principles between Faculties and Departments.

Student transfers to departments of our faculty are done as internal transfers, between the departments of faculties and external transfers. For each category, quotas are re-set every year and posted on “Announcement” pages of www.sis.itu.edu.tr before applications start. Detailed information is available on this webpage.
Internal Transfer and Transfer between Departments of Faculty:
On the basis of grade point ranking of students who applied for transfer, Internal Transfer and Transfer between Departments of Faculty are decided by Student Affairs. Equivalence of classes for students who transfer is decided again by Student Affairs.
External Transfer:
Within the framework of YOK regulations and decision of ITU Senate, external transfer is possible for the students from industrial engineering departments of certain universities which are accepted as equivalent to industrial engineering department of our faculty. These universities are re-listed and posted on announcement page which is related to transfer.
Transfer from domestic universities to Management Engineering Department is not possible due to non-existence of any university which has an equivalent department. Only the applications from foreign universities which has related department, will be taken into consideration.
Students from different universities must fill out the transfer application form, and deliver it to Student Affairs of ITU Management Faculty with other necessary documents. Transfer applications are assessed by Transfer Commission of Management Faculty, and after the acceptance of applications by the school board, the equivalence of students are done by the commission by using objective criteria in a fair manner.
